As a solution to our economic problems, would you do what John McCain would do? which is to find some more poor countries to have trade agreements with and continue the race to the bottom (bottom being the cheapest labor pool possible to manufacture goods to sell back in the USA).

Outsourcing means cheap foreign labor, the inferior quality that comes from foreign labor, and a reduction of jobs for Americans.

Many Republicans say that would be the government interfering with businesses and destroying the ideals this country was founded on.
Some Democrats will say that it isn’t a bad thing as many countries need those jobs.
Both are wrong.
But that is why.
Supporting a tariff would destroy a politicians career.

Because I think people like to get angry at people rather than machines…
And also, because it makes their lives easier, and someone needs to make or develop those machines, so more jobs are developed anyway..
